Next season, the Myanmar National League Cup will be held as the first competition on March 1. The tournament will allow MNL clubs as well as MNL-II clubs to compete, with a total of 20 teams. The MNL League Cup 2024, which will be organized by the Myanmar National League Committee, will featured four groups of five teams each.
According to the drawing-lot event, Yangon United, University FC, Maha United, GFA and Shwepyitha United are falling in Group A, Champion Shan United, Glory Goal, Rakhine United, Kachin United and Rainbow FC are included in Group B Group (B), Hanthawady United, Dagon Port, Dagon Star United, Ayeyawady United and Silver Star FC are competing in Group C and ISPE, Thitsa Arman, Myawady, Yadanabon and Rakkhapura United are placed in Group D.
The tourney will run from 1 March to 19 June at Thuwunna, YUSC, University and Padonma Stadiums with the two-round system. Currently, Myanmar National League-1 and Myanmar National League-2 clubs are playing friendly matches to compete in the MNL League Cup 2024.
