American golfer Tiger Woods, who entered the Genesis Invitational for the first time since April of last year, withdrew from the tournament due to a fever before the start of the second day of play. 48-year-old Tiger Woods played his best match on the first day but suffered a fever before the second round of competition.
After the first day of play, Tiger Woods said he was satisfied with his performance. In recent years, Tiger Woods has been plagued by frequent injuries and has seen fewer tournaments and his world ranking has dropped.
Last year, he competed in the Masters but withdrew before the third day after injuring his ankle. Although he was scheduled to return to the PGA Tour at the end of November last year, he had to postpone his return to play due to his injury.
