Work coordination meeting held on infrastructure work to be completed in advance by myanmar side for implementation of deep-sea port project of Kyaukphyu SEZ Zone

A work coordination meeting on the implementation plan of infrastructure work to be completed by the Myanmar side for the deep-sea port project of Kyaukphyu Special Economic Zone took place in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Commerce on 17 January.

During the meeting, U Aung Naing Oo, the Chairman of the Central Task Force on Myanmar Special Economic Zones, emphasized the importance of the timely completion of supportive work for the project by the respective ministries, and provided instructions for effective coordination and collaboration with the relevant ministries.

Then, officials from relevant departments reported on ministry-wise further matters.

It was attended by Union Minister for the Ministry 2 at Office of Chairman of the Office of the State Administration Council, who is in the capacity of the Chairman of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Committee U Aung Naing Oo, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, Deputy Minister U Min Min, Chairman, and members of Kyaukphyu SEZ Management Committee, officials from Rakhine State Government, and concerned officials both online and offline.
