The Kokang ethnic group condemned the actions of the Kokang armed MNDAA, which destroyed the pagoda with hammers, and condemned it in a statement issued today in the state-run newspaper.
Social Management Committee of Kokang Buddhist Monastery (Mandalay) protest against the MNDAA’s act of demolishing pagodas. In the photos and video files, the MNDAA soldiers are hammering and destroying the Buddhist pagoda in Northern Shan State, where the public venerates and worships in the Kokang region. All the Buddhist Kokang ethnic families living in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay and Mogok towns announced their strong objection.
