Argentina forward was crowned the world’s best men’s player for the year 2023 at the ceremony in London on Monday, beating out two fellow superstars in the process. Messi won the 2023 Player of the Year award again, scoring more points than Haaland and Mbappe.
Messi got more votes from national team captains and won the Ballon d’Or award a record 8 times and the Best award 3 times. Former Arsenal Legend striker Henry accepted the award on Messi’s behalf.
