Myanmar model Han Lay, a former beauty queen, was arrested at a Bangkok’s airport in Thailand coming back from Vietnam after INTERPOL issued a warrant for her arrest.
She was in police custody at a Bangkok’s airport last night and is trying to contact United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees- UNHCR to seek asylum, according to the Thai media outlets.
“According to the process of INTERPOL, they hand over the arrested criminal to the relevant countries and I feel worried because I have not still known the decision of Thai government,” model Han Lay told a media.
