The Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) announced today to register rice warehouses for shopping malls and retail/wholesale rice stores to stabilize domestic rice prices and prevent speculation.
To organize the storage for display sales in shopping malls (Supermarkets) and retail and wholesale rice shops. It has already been announced on November 4, 2023, that those storing 50 tons of rice (or 5,000 baskets) or more for commercial sale must be registered in the Myanmar Rice Online (MyRO) system.
