Domestic fuel oil is sufficient and over 13 million gallons of Octane 92 Ron and over 30 million gallons of diesel are in stock. More than 15 tankers will arrive soon, Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, Information Team Leader of the State Administration Council, said.
He said this comment on spreading rumors regarding the fuel oil on 12 November.
Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun said; “ Firstly, we have emphasized the sufficiency of fuel oil and edible oil under the guidance of the Prime Minister. Fuel oil is sufficient in the country. over 13 million gallons of Octane 92 Ron and over 30 million gallons of diesel are in stock. Moreover, about 15 tankers will arrive soon. Measures are always made to have one-month reserve for any kinds of fuel oil.
Rumors on fuel oil are spreading from foreign and local medias, he added.
The government has emphasized on fuel oil and conducted dollars selling as before, he continued.
It is important for people not to suffer from toxic news by watching false news which are being broadcast in all aspects of political, economic, social and defence at present, Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun said.
