Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Vyacheslav Lebedev at the Credentials Hall of SAC Chairman’s Office here this morning.
At the meeting views on continuous improvement of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Russia, promotion of cooperation in legal and judicial affairs, programs for Myanmar legal experts to learn law subjects in Russia, promotion of cooperation in legal and judicial sectors, and ongoing multi-sector cooperation between the two countries were cordially exchanged.
After the meeting the Senior General and Russian chief justice exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photos together with attendees.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Chief Justice U Tun Tun Oo, and Union Minister for Legal Affairs Dr Daw Thida Oo. The Russian chief justice was accompanied by members of the delegation, and officials of Embassy of Russian Federation in Myanmar.
