National female soccer teams from Myanmar and Thailand played the semi-final match of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games today.
The teams from Myanmar and Thailand played at RSN Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia at 6.30 pm (Myanmar Standard Time) on 12 May. Myanmar national women team beat Thailand with a big victory by 4-2 and secures for final.
Although Thailand got off to a fine start with two goals, Myanmar fought back and got winning goals.
Myanmar team’s winning goals were scored by Yupa Khaing in the 43rd minute, Win Theingi Tun 48th minute, San Thawtha 53rd minute and Myat Noe Khin 92nd minute.
Myanmar women team will play the final match with Vietnam on 15 May.
