The role of intellectuals and intelligentsia has become more inclusive and important in building a modern Tatmadaw, Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Vice-Senior General Soe Win said.
He made this comment at the meeting with instructors and trainees of Military Computer and Technological Institute in Hopong Station on 8 April.
In his address delivered at the meeting, the Vice-Senior General spoke of malpractice in voter list in the 2020 General Election to unjustly win the election, ignorance by officials including the then UEC over the request to solve the malpractice, other parties’ request to the Tatmadaw to solve the issue, summoning the Hluttaw to forcibly take the power without solving the malpractice in voter list, and the Tatmadaw’s move to take the responsibilities of the State in accordance with the 2008 Constitution in order that the democracy system will not be unsteady.

As some media are propagandizing lies with the assistance from such countries, it is necessary to let your families read good literature and know true news in order that they will realize what is right and what is wrong and analyse what is true and what is false.
It is learnt that financial issues were found in some cases breaching the military rules. According to the Serviceman Code of Conduct, it is necessary for a serviceman to be on his budget and to stay away from the gambling. It is to be aware that such financial issues, gambling and entertainment behaviour cause harmfulness to the security of the Tatmadaw.
