With a decrease in global gold market, the domestic gold price is gradually declining to Ks-2,843,000 per tical, according to the gold market.
The gold price is declining after Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA) appealed to gold shops and traders to sell pure gold at Ks-2,790,000 per tical on 22 February 2023,.
The price was not set by the Monitoring and Steering Committee on Gold and Currency Market and it is only the reasonable price according to the analysis of YGEA.
On these days, the global gold price is on downtrend and the US dollar stood at Ks-1,810, it is reported.
