First batch of 25 Evs arrived in Myanmar

25 electric vehicles which are BYD Atto-3 and Dolphin models was arrived in Myanmar as first batch after automobile import and distribution companies received EV import permissions, it is reported.
Dr. Soe Tun, chairman of Myanmar Automobile Manufacturers and Distributors Association, said: “The first batch is 25 vehicles and an EV station is being installed in front of Yangon Station. This is the first batch of EVs. The second batch will be arrived in three weeks. We will conduct collective works for public stations of EVs. We will sell not only EVs but also associated spare parts of EVs.”
The price of EVs imported to Myanmar is almost Ks-100 million and the sale price of Atto-3 model, a best seller among the BYDBYD Brand EVs, is Ks-999 million. The Evs will be sold with installment.
Currently, there are many criticisms in connection with the operation of Evs in Myanmar between the people.
On January, 40 China-made E2 electric vehicles were imported for the first time and these EVs will be operated as taxis.
