Maravijara Buddha Image in Nay Pyi Taw will attract local and foreign pilgrims to visit to the city, said Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung.
Dr Htay Aung said: “As the Maravijara Buddha Image will become world’s tallest Buddha stone statue, the local and foreign pilgrims will come and stay in Nay Pyi Taw. So, hotels will prepare for readiness to provide good services.”
The Union Minister said: “There are opportunities to increase the number of foreign travellers because of international standard Nay Pyi Taw International Airport. Policies are being adopted for Nay Pyi Taw to become Green City၊ Clean City၊ Smart City.
