U Aung Lin Dwe, a member of parliament from the Union Solidarity and Development Party, was elected as the new Speaker of Myanmar’s Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House) in a parliament session held on Wednesday, according to state-owned Myanmar Radio and Television.
