The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs Products Exhibition Trade Fair for the development of the MSMEs will be held in Mandalay for three days as of today.
Under the arrangement of the Mandalay Region Government, the opening ceremony of the MSMEs Products Exhibition Trade Fair was held at Manala Thiri stadium in Chanmyathasi Township of Mandalay Region at 8 am on 26 December.
U Thein Hta, chairman of SMEs development agency, said: “The aims of trade fair are to ensure for multi-sectors economic development between the State and private entrepreneurs and to create job opportunities for local people.”
Present at the ceremony were Mandalay Chief Minister U Maung Ko, SMEs Development Agency Chairman U Thein Htay, President of Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry U Win Htay, Chairman of Mandalay Industrial Zone Management Committee U Khin Maung Hla, staff from Mandalay Regional Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection Department, entrepreneurs of Mandalay industrial zones and invited guests, totaling about 200.
The MSMEs trade fair has 144 booths and will display the local products from 26 to 28 December.
