The Acting President of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Administration Council, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, has warned that if the country fails to maintain the necessary conditions for political stability, it could face a potential collapse.
He made these statements while addressing instructors, trainees, and officers at the Civil Service Academy, Upper Myanmar (CSAUM), the Police Training School in Zeepingyi, and the Central Fire Training School in Pyin Oo Lwin. The event took place today at the Yadana Hall of the Civil Service University (Upper Myanmar) in Zeepingyi, Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region.
The Acting President noted that every country relies on a government and civil servants. The government provides political leadership and establishes policies, while civil servants are responsible for implementing those policies. Although political leaders may change with different ruling parties and governments, civil servants are expected to continue performing their duties.
He emphasized that while policies may vary depending on the ruling party, the offices and departments themselves will remain unchanged.
The Acting President highlighted that Myanmar is situated between two powerful nations and has a complex political history. He warned that if the country cannot navigate the differing dynamics of the East and the West, along with internal armed conflicts and the need for political stability, it risks potential collapse.
He urged everyone to learn from historical lessons and commit to building a modern, developed, and peaceful nation for the future.
