Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed 46 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with 17 countries within seven years to promote cooperation of trade and investment, U Zaw Min Win, chairman of UMFCCI, said at the 31st Annual General Meeting of UMFCCI held on 22 December.
U Zaw Min Win said: “UMFCCI signed 46 MoU with 17 international organizations from 2016 to 2022.”
The MoU provides benefits for information sharing on trade, investment and market, agro-industry cooperation and industrial project sectors; and creates job opportunities.
UMFCCI conducted a series of discussions with those financial institutions and suggestions are submitted to respective companies and ministries, he said.
