Pilgrims from all over the region come to visit every day. This year, there are more pilgrims than last year, according to the pagoda\u2019s board of trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLast year, there were a total of 726,664 domestic and foreign pilgrims during the pagoda festival. This year, from the start of the festival on October 17 (full moon day of Thadingyut) to February 12, there were more than 800,000 pilgrims, including 781,286 domestic pilgrims and 230,666 foreign pilgrims.
