According to the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) on Thursday, Myanmar exported over 2 million tons of rice and broken rice in the first nine months of the 2024-25 fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MRF said Myanmar earned 948 million U.S. dollars from exports to Southeast Asian countries between April and December of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The federation said that 337,490 tons of rice and broken rice were exported in December last year, generating 145 million dollars in revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It said that during the nine-month period, the country exported rice and broken rice via sea and land routes to more than 30 countries, including Indonesia, China, the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the federation, in the 2023-24 fiscal year, Myanmar exported over 1.6 million tons of rice and broken rice, earning more than 845 million dollars. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
