More than 20 hotels and guest houses on the beach serve visitors all year long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShwethaungyan Beach received 16,546 domestic and overseas visitors in September 2024, 17,857 in October, 24,545 in November and 54,557 in December. The majority of these visitors came for day trips. The beach is also known for its nearby elephant camp, which attracts tourists throughout the year,\u201d Daw Cherry Myint said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hotel management at Shwethaungyan Beach is currently taking measures to maintain cleanliness along the beach in front of each hotel, beautify landscapes and roads within the hotel compound, and clean public areas.
