After February 1, 2021, in the morning of December 19, 2021, Thailand will hold an informal meeting on the Myanmar issue, starting in Bangkok. The participants will discuss a solution to the Myanmar issue facing various general crises, including politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Laos, the current rotating chairman of ASEAN, and Thailand, the host country, sponsored the meeting. Myanmar’s Foreign Minister, U Than Swe, will attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
China’s Deputy Foreign Minister Song Wei Tong will also participate in the two-day informal dialogue on Myanmar issues, scheduled for December 19th and 20th. Foreign ministers from India, Bangladesh, and Laos are expected to join the discussions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
