{"id":8141,"date":"2024-10-31T11:33:30","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T11:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=8141"},"modified":"2024-10-31T11:33:31","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T11:33:31","slug":"chinlone-will-be-performed-by-artists-at-the-national-sports-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=8141","title":{"rendered":"Chinlone will be performed by artists at the National Sports Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>30 October 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO), the Fifth National Sports Festival\u2019s opening ceremony will feature a special performance by artistes showcasing the traditional Myanmar sport of Chinlone (cane ball).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the collaboration with the Myanmar Chinlone Federation, actors and Chinlone athletes trained together at the MMPO for over a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur training is proceeding smoothly since the actors are already familiar with Chinlone,\u201d said MMPO Vice-Chair U Aye Kyuu Lay.<br>\u201cAt the ceremony, we will pay homage to this traditional sport with a song and an impressive Chinlone performance\u201d.
