Yangon-Mandalay and ThaziShwenyaung trains suspended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">13 September 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PERSISTENT rain has caused rivers to overflow and flood some townships and villages in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, and rescue work is being conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nay Pyi Taw and eastern hill regions received heavy rainfalls due to the Yagi storm, and the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology released flood warnings for those residing in low-lying areas and villages along the rivers as the water level in Ngaleik and Sinthay creeks and Paunglong river in Pyinmana Township are expected to increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the persistent rain starting on 10 September, floods occurred in Zeyathiri township, at the Kintha junction of Tatkon Flood relief in Nay Pyi Taw;
