At around 5:10 p.m. in the evening, near milepost No. 52, mile 2 furlongs west of Myinmu Township, the PDF group stopped the bus and fired all around while driving without stopping. In addition, the PDFs who were guarding the Mandalay-Mongywa highway near mile marker 51 mile 1 furlong detonated a hand-made mine.
