{"id":6625,"date":"2024-08-22T02:07:07","date_gmt":"2024-08-22T02:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=6625"},"modified":"2024-08-22T02:07:07","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T02:07:07","slug":"railway-service-restored-on-pathein-hinthada-kyangin-route-after-flooding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=6625","title":{"rendered":"Railway service restored on Pathein-Hinthada-Kyangin route after flooding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>21 August 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myanma Railways suspended train services on 27 July due to severe flooding caused by heavy rains in Kyaunggon, Kangyidaunt, and Yekyi townships in Ayeyawady Region, affecting the Pathein-Hinthada-Kyangin route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 19 August, measurements indicated that water levels had receded to one inch below the tracks in the Zayethla-Yekyi section, allowing officials to approve its reopening.
