{"id":5535,"date":"2024-04-19T09:54:27","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T09:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=5535"},"modified":"2024-04-19T09:54:28","modified_gmt":"2024-04-19T09:54:28","slug":"kachin-state-chief-minister-assists-idps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=5535","title":{"rendered":"Kachin State Chief Minister assists IDPs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>19 April 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KACHIN State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met displaced people from Waingmaw Township of Myitkyina District in Kachin State who are seeking refuge in St Joseph (RC) camp on 17 April 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the chief minister encouraged them and provided arrangements to meet their needs as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, the chief minister and officials provided K10 million for 126 households, including 517 people who temporarily fled from Waingmaw Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In-charge persons from the camp and people reported their needs and difficulties, and the chief minister and party made proper arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, the chief minister and officials inspected the construction of temporary shelters in the compound of RC church in Makhoyang village for additional households reported by the in-charges of the camps and provided K15.6 million.
