Min Aung Hlain signed the 2024 Union goverment tax Law, which is expected to collect more than 9,378 billion kyats from all types of taxes for the fiscal year 2024-2025. For the fiscal year 2023-2024, it is expected that 8052 billion kyats will be collected from all kinds of taxes.
