{"id":4865,"date":"2024-03-09T08:41:06","date_gmt":"2024-03-09T08:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=4865"},"modified":"2024-03-09T08:41:08","modified_gmt":"2024-03-09T08:41:08","slug":"needs-about-500-megawatts-of-electricity-every-year-in-myanmar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=4865","title":{"rendered":"Needs about 500 megawatts of electricity every year in Myanmar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>9 March 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U Nyan Tun, Union Minister of the Ministry of Electricity, said that the annual increase in electricity consumption is 9% and above, and the nation&#8217;s electricity demand will be met only if the annual electricity generation can be increased by about 500 megawatts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, the minister stressed that as private entrepreneurs should openly present their needs and difficulties so that they can coordinate, which implement projects to meet the needs of the state and the people.
