In addition, the Hteedan Container Checkpoint nabbed K37.8 million worth of bicycle parts that exceeded the Import Declaration (ID) from a container on 5 October. The action was taken under the Customs Procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, at the Mayanchaung Permanent Checkpoint in Mon State captured 720 litres of edible oil worth K2.4 million that were not declared in the Import Declaration (ID) from a Nissan Diesel truck (approximately K40 million) heading from Myawady to Yangon. The action was taken under the Customs Procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 5 and 6 October, a combined inspection team confiscated 2,460 litres of edible oil worth K5.15 million without official documents in Myawady township and 65 cartons of apples worth K1.95 million without official documents from a vehicle at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) Combined Checkpoint.
