The Central Bank of Myanmar announced that it will set the salary remittances of seafarers at Ks-3,000 per US dollar.
If the seafarers transfer their salaries to the CB bank, they can carry out inward remittances of foreign salary at Ks-3,000 per dollar. Thus, CB bank has informed that the seafarers can receive benefits for better exchange rate by transferring into their salary accounts in CB bank, the bank released a statement.
The CBM settled the reference exchange rate of a US dollar at Ks-2,100, yet a dollar hit approximately Ks-3,000 in the black market, according to the foreign exchange traders on 27 September.
According to the foreign exchange rates in domestic currency market on 27 September, 2022, one Euro is equal to Ks-3,200, one Singapore dollar is equal to , Ks-2,250, one Malaysian Ringgit is equal to Ks-700, one Thai Baht is equal to Ks-86, one Chinese Yuan is equal to Ks-470, and one Japanese Yen is equal to Ks-22.5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
