{"id":1663,"date":"2023-03-13T05:36:13","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T05:36:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1663"},"modified":"2023-03-13T05:36:16","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T05:36:16","slug":"myanmars-seaborne-trade-earned-most-in-2022-2023-fiscal-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1663","title":{"rendered":"Myanmar\u2019s seaborne trade earned most in 2022-2023 fiscal year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>12 March 2023<br>The seaborne trade is the largest in the 2022-2023 fiscal year, according to the data of the Ministry of Commerce.<br>Myanmar earned US$-23.14 billion from the inter-trading to abroad via maritime route in ten months this FY, an increase of US$-3.37 billion compared to the same period of last year, according to the data.<br>According to the statistic released by the MoC, Myanmar received US$-9.62 billion from the export through maritime route in ten months from April 2022 to 24 February 2023, increasing 7.8 percent compared to the same period of previous year.<br>Similarly, US$-13.52 billion was earned from the import via seaborne trade, increasing 26 percent compared to the same period. Myanmar\u2019s seaborne trade surged 33.8 percent within 10 months this FY.<br>Myanmar earned US$-30.79 billion from the inter-trading with foreign countries through maritime route and border trade route in 10 months of the 2022-2023 FY.
