{"id":1342,"date":"2023-01-27T04:31:50","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T04:31:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1342"},"modified":"2023-01-27T04:31:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T04:31:52","slug":"one-pilgrims-killed-seven-injured-in-attack-of-pdf-terrorists-using-grenade-launcher-in-kyaikhto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1342","title":{"rendered":"One pilgrims killed, seven injured in attack of PDF terrorists using grenade launcher in Kyaikhto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MT News<br>The PDF terrorists attacked a vehicle visiting to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda in Kyaikhto Township of Mon State using grenade launcher on 25 January, and it was reported one pilgrim was killed and seven others wounded.<br>While the vehicle carrying 11 passengers and driven by U Thiha Maung Maung from Natmauk Township of Magway Region arrived near KP fuel station on Yangon-Mawlamyine highway near Motpalin Village of Kyaikhto Township at 11.40 am, PDF terrorists who are the subordinates of NUG and CRPH attacked using grenade launcher. At the incident, the projectile hit on the roof top of vehicle and one male was killed and seven others-two men and five women- were injured.<br>On 12 October 2022, KRF (Kyaikht Revolutionary Force) group led by former MPF member Aye Min Tun, a companion of former Mon State Chief Minister Dr Aye Zan attacked the pilgrims who came to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda for the first time, and it resulted in four pilgrims- three females and one male-being killed and 17 others being injured.<br>Although Phado Saw Taw Ne told the media that KNU will take action against the members who combined with KRF group, there is any investigation and announcement in connection with this action.
