{"id":1272,"date":"2023-01-18T04:06:23","date_gmt":"2023-01-18T04:06:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1272"},"modified":"2023-01-18T04:06:25","modified_gmt":"2023-01-18T04:06:25","slug":"aung-la-n-sang-defeats-brazilian-fighter-in-over-one-minute-at-one-championship-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=1272","title":{"rendered":"Aung La N Sang defeats Brazilian fighter in over one minute at ONE Championship event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MT News<br>Myanmar\u2019s MMA icon Aung La N Sang (Burmese Python) defeated Brazilian fighter Galvao in under 90 seconds in a catchweight challenge of the ONE Championship event named ONE FIGHT NIGHT 6 which held at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand today.<br>Aung La N Sang was originally set to face Chinese fighter Fang Rong in a middle weight MMA bout on this card, but his opponent changed and he fought Galvao.<br>Galvao who defeated Japanese fighter Yushin Okami in 2022 vowed to beat Aung La N Sang in two minutes of final round for 2022. But Galvao was defeated by Aung La N Sang in 90 seconds at the start of first round.<br>It didn\u2019t take much for N Sang to get the close the show. Galvao was aggressive early as he swung wide hooks, but N Sang connected with a sneaky uppercut that sent him to the canvas. N Sang allowed Galvao to return to his feet, and a moment later the fight moved to a clinch<br>against the fence. N Sang defended a takedown attempt well, and dropped Galvao to the mat once again.<br>The end was near, as N Sang rained down heavy punches until referee Herb Dean called a stop to the fight.<br>After the tournament, in his words of thanks, Aung La N Sang said that achieving peace in Myanmar is important and all have to make efforts to achieve peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
