This group is influenced by the Rakhine terrorist organizations, the Arakan Army (AA) and the National Unity Government (NUG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After recapturing Falam town, which was briefly occupied by the AA and the NUG-affiliated Chin armed groups on April 25, the Tatmadaw successfully took back Mount Kanedi, located in Tedim Township\u2014the second highest mountain in Chin State. This area had served as a base for CB members who had been plundering the region. Within ten days, the Tatmadaw effectively defeated the Chin armed groups in a ground-to-air operation on May 5 and May 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mount Kanedi was captured by the Chin armed group CB, influenced by the AA and NUG, during the last week of November 2023. As a strategic military base, it has seen four mutual takeovers between the Tatmadaw and the Chin armed groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In these operations, ten Chin PDF fighters, including women from Zoland, have been killed due to the Tatmadaw&#8217;s air and ground offensives.
