U Nyo Saw, representing the group of military representatives from both houses, obtained 126 votes, while Nan Ni Ni Aye, nominated by the Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House) representatives, secured 29 votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the country&#8217;s electoral system, the Presidential Electoral College votes to select the president from among three vice presidents<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday, Min Aung Hlaing, Nan Ni Ni Aye, and U Nyo Saw were elected the country&#8217;s vice presidents.
