This year\u2019s festival is the (77th) edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is said that the festival traditionally involves carrying &#8220;the Twenty-Eight Buddhas&#8221; from the Ngar Dat Kyi pagoda in Hlegu to each neighborhood and then taking them around the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis year, I heard that they will be carrying them around the neighborhood like before the COVID-19 pandemic.
