After the Ta’ aung terrorit group TNLA fled due to the Myanmar Tatmadaw’s offensive, schools in Hsipaw have been demined and cleaned, and enrollment has begun to reopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hsipaw No. 1 Basic Education High School began accepting school-age children in grades this morning, with 112 students enrolling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ministry of Education also provided free textbooks, stationery and other supplies to students who enrolled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tatmadaw has conducted a Counter-Terrorism Operation to ensure that the people can live peacefully and has regained full control of Hsipaw, Shan State (Northern), and is currently working on a timely and vigorous rehabilitation program to ensure that the government\u2019s administrative machinery can resume operations, children can receive education, and local people can receive healthcare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
