The Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed for China on a working visit at the invitation of President of the People\u2019s Republic of China, Mr Xi Jinping, from the Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of August 30.
During the working visit, the Senior General will be scheduled to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025 to be held in Tianjin, the People\u2019s Republic of China, and to join the parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People\u2019s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War to be held in Beijing. Moreover, the Senior General will hold talks with the President of the People\u2019s Republic of China, Mr Xi Jinping, discuss with other Heads of State and meet officials of the government of the People\u2019s Republic of China. In addition, the Senior General will go sightseeing around China’s landmarks, observe the education, industrial manufacturing, and economic sectors, and hold talks about further development and strengthening of cooperation in friendship, economic, and other sectors between the two governments and the people of both countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
