The National Disaster Management Committee will provide 10,859.2973 million kyats to earthquake-affected people in Sagaing Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The assistance will cover 442 completely damaged houses, 1,333 partially damaged houses, and a total of 1,775 houses. The assistance ceremony was held at the Sagaing City Stadium on the morning of July 28, four months after the earthquake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Thet Pon of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defense (Army) delivered an opening speech, and U Nyunt Win Aung, Minister of Social Affairs of the Sagaing Region Government, and U Myo Aung, Chairman of the Sagaing District Administrative Organization, explained the assistance situation for the damaged houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, assistance was distributed to people in Sagaing City whose houses were damaged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
