The Ministry of Home Affairs announced tonight that a 60-year-old woman was shot and killed by PDFs in Mahlaing Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred at 4:00 p.m. on July 4, 2025, near Pyukan Village in the Mandalay Region. According to reports, security forces investigated the incident and discovered that Daw Htay Htay, a 100 Houses Group Elder from Magyi Pinpu Village in Mahlaing Township, was leaving her home alone to flag down a car to go to Mandalay for a clinic visit. While at the roadside near Pyukan Village, she was shot and killed by PDFs, suffering fatal bullet wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
