{"id":10646,"date":"2025-06-05T04:04:02","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T04:04:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=10646"},"modified":"2025-06-05T04:04:05","modified_gmt":"2025-06-05T04:04:05","slug":"the-area-of-the-old-city-wall-and-moat-of-kaytumati-taungoo-is-designated-as-an-ancient-cultural-heritage-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtnewstoday.com\/en\/?p=10646","title":{"rendered":"The area of \u200b\u200bthe old city wall and moat of Kaytumati Taungoo is designated as an ancient cultural heritage area"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>4 June 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture announced on May 29 that the area of \u200b\u200bthe old city wall and moat of Kaytumati, Taungoo, Bago Region, is a cultural heritage area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, exercising its authority under Section 9 of the Law on the Protection and Conservation of Cultural Heritage Areas, has designated the area of \u200b\u200bthe cultural heritage area, the outer boundary of the moat and the inner boundary of the city wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 23 wards in Taungoo, and 11 wards are included in the area of \u200b\u200bcultural heritage. Although the moats have been preserved, the city walls still need to be preserved.
