This year, we are forecasting a total of 3 million tonnes. Last year, we exported 2.5 million tonnes, which generated around 1.1 billion US dollars in revenue,&#8221; said MRF Chairman U Ye Min Aung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myanmar exports rice and broken rice via both sea and border routes, with China being the largest export destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) announced that in April of the fiscal year 2025-2026, a total of 142,788 tons of rice and broken rice were exported. Although exports through the border route were not possible, the largest share of these exports went to China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the previous fiscal year (2024-2025), the target for rice and broken rice exports was set at less than 2.5 million tons.
