Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in time, and all 143 passengers on board are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 6, at approximately 6:35 PM, Myanmar National Airlines flight UB-812, a Boeing aircraft with tail number XY-ALV, was departing from Mandalay to Yangon. During the takeoff, an abnormal signal was detected on the runway, prompting the pilot to abort the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this process, the left tire of the aircraft burst due to the overheating of the brake system, which led to a fire. However, this was quickly controlled. The statement from MNA confirmed that the remaining wheels of the aircraft were intact, allowing it to stop safely at the northern end of the runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight crew followed safety operating procedures, and all passengers and crew were safely transported to the airport terminal without any injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MNA has arranged alternative flights to transfer the affected passengers to Yangon and is accommodating their needs.
